The new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 (A)

We travelled half-way across the world to Nice, a quiet coastal city at the southern tip of France to attend the official launch of the European-spec Jetta, the very same model Singapore will be getting come mid-2011. The picturesque coastal backdrop provided the perfect setting to unveil Volkswagen’s latest mid-sized sedan.

The Jetta gets its signature blacked-out headlamps and snout flashed across crisp clean body and shoulder lines that taper off at the slightly A4-ish rear tail-lamps. The overall effect serves the target Jetta buyers well, a non-offensive, smart-looking executive sedan; perfect for the corporate climber.

The 1.4L TSI is confirmed for Singapore and would prove to be an
excellent option for small to mid-size sedan buyers here.
