The Samsung SGH-i450 is no ordinary slider with its dual form factor and innovative design, making it an exciting addition to Samsung’s stable of premium and novel music phones.

On one end the SGH-i450 slides open to reveal a phone and the other end to reveal an innovative speaker with unique touch controls and sound powered by Bang & Olufsen Icepower audio technology for a superior audio experience. The unique five-way navigation pad is incorporated into the design of the speakers, arced to fit the natural curve of the thumb to give users ease and comfort when scrolling through their music.

With striking clarity and vibrant colour, the large 2.4” TFT display provides users with a wide window to enjoy their mobile’s multimedia content. The screen is in portrait view when the mobile is used for calls while sliding down switches the display to landscape view for listening to music and viewing videos.

Featuring a two-megapixel camera and video recording facilities, the phone will ensure that the user captures life’s precious moments, while a second VGA camera allows users to engage in video telephony. The i450’s Symbian S60 software gives users a great browsing experience, enhanced by HSDPA for speeds as fast as 3.6Mbps to download large files and video streaming quickly.
